DESCRIBE
- The standard wear plates include two models: SSAS (without oil groove) and SSASM (with wavy oil groove). Both are fabricated from premium oil steel, with hardness controlled at 52-56HRC after heat treatment, featuring high surface hardness, excellent compression resistance and long-term anti-wear performance. The SSASM version adds a specially designed wavy lubrication groove to store grease, optimize sliding lubrication and reduce frictional heat buildup.
- They are mainly applied for wear-resistant support and lateral limit of sliding parts on injection molds and stamping dies, bearing lateral extrusion force during mold opening/closing, lowering the abrasion of sliding fit faces and avoiding sliding block skew or clamping stagnation.
- Adopt standardized flat plate structure with pre-machined mounting counterbore holes for quick positioning and installation; compact overall dimension saves installation space inside mold frames.
- Stable wear resistance effectively reduces mold sliding loss, improves the running stability of die sliding mechanisms and extends the overall service life of molds.
Wear plates：
Wear plate is a common mold wearing part used for punch and injection molds. It is installed on the matching face of sliders and mold bases to undertake friction load, protect the mold base material from wear, maintain sliding precision and simplify later part replacement and maintenance.
