DESCRIBE
- The GGRSM Guide Strips are fabricated from premium oil steel with hardness controlled at 52–56 HRC after heat treatment, delivering high surface hardness, excellent compression resistance and long-term anti-wear performance for precision mold applications.
- They are mainly applied for wear-resistant support and lateral limiting of sliding parts on injection molds and stamping dies, bearing lateral extrusion force during mold opening and closing, lowering the abrasion of sliding fit faces and avoiding slider skew or clamping stagnation.
- Adopt a standardized flat-plate structure with pre-machined counterbored mounting holes for quick positioning and installation; the compact overall dimension saves installation space inside mold frames. Three types are available to match different working lengths: Type-A (2 holes), Type-B (3 holes) and Type-C (4 holes).
- A zigzag oil groove (90° V-groove, R1.25 / depth 0.5) is machined on the side face for reliable lubrication distribution along the sliding surface; dimension options with precise tolerances (length L 0/-0.3, width W ±0.005, thickness T 0/-0.1) guarantee high-precision mold assembly. Please note that if L ≤ P+10 (P = oil-groove pitch), the full oil-groove may not be cut.
- Stable wear resistance effectively reduces mold sliding loss, improves the running stability of die sliding mechanisms and extends the overall service life of molds.
Guide Strips：
Guide Strip is a common mold wearing part used for punch and injection molds. It is installed on the matching face of sliders and mold bases to undertake friction load, protect the mold base material from wear, maintain sliding precision and simplify later part replacement and maintenance.
